Does paper weight matter in leaflet delivery campaigns?
The short answer is, yes, it does. As a small business we absolutely understand that budgeting and making your money work hard is incredibly important. But, don’t make the mistake of confusing cost against value.
The upfront cost of a cheaper paper stock when making your leaflets may be tempting. You will keep more of your money in your pocket - at least in the short term.
But what happens when the leaflet that you need to work hard for your business hits letterboxes and is damaged before it even hits the doormat? the leaflet has become crumpled and torn on entry and the first thing your prospective buyer sees is this mess on their floor?
Lets assume for a moment the leaflet is not so badly damaged and your prospective buyer finds your leaflet and actually picks it up. Will it wilt limply in their hands or stand to attention? will it look so transparent you can almost read the other side of it? Is this the first impression you want for your business?
Its all in the detail! and when you are playing the numbers game can have a huge impact on your bottom line. So, make your early design choices about value and not just cost.
